eames in twin falls

eames-chair-herman-miller
on thursday i flew in to twin falls, idaho for the wedding of my good friends bethany and josh. some family friends of theirs were kind enough to open up their home as a place for the groomsmen to crash. as we were getting a tour of the house we were going to be staying in, something caught my eye. no, it wasn’t the multiple flat screen hd tv’s, the king size bed in each of the guest rooms, the pool table, the pin ball machine, or the incredible view of the canyon. it was a chair like the one posted above that caught my eye. i had found charles and ray eames in twinn falls, idaho. so this morning, i woke up a little early to just sit in this beautiful piece of design.

thank you twin falls.

  1. Halla!
Can’t wait to see you soon.

  2. seriously one of the most comfortable chairs ever designed. i used to work around those every day…it was torture to not own one! glad you soaked it in 🙂

  3. I own an Eames chair, just like this one. It was handed down to me by my father. It must be over forty years old now and, except for wanted a new leather cover, is as solid as ever.

    Beautiful furniture.

    • Thanks for the comment Mark! What a great gift to have handed down to you. I am jealous and hope that one day I will have one of these beautiful chairs to relax in.

      Cheers!
